I have known Trish Mandewo for many years, and I have seen her in action as a Coquitlam City Councillor. In my role as Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs from 2020 to 2024, I witnessed Trish advocate relentlessly and effectively on behalf of her constituents and all BC local governments.

As a two-term UBCM President, Trish solidified her reputation as one of the most respected voices in BC local governments and demonstrated exceptional leadership in a complex and fast-moving environment.

I believe that Trish Mandewo is uniquely qualified to be the next Mayor of Coquitlam.
